CURRENT CIRCUIT:

Loading Transformer:

Double winding loading transformer of suitable burden to provide corresponding current output specified before.

Measuring CT:

Multi-ratio wound primary current transformer. Ratio: 2-20-200A / 2A.

Variable Autotransformer:

For smooth variation of current output at various ranges selected.

Protection: The current output would be cutoff in case of any overload or even if the relay under test actuates.

Metering: Direct reading with meter range selector.

AC VOLTAGE CIRCUIT:

For smooth variation of voltage output from 0 to 250 volts AC at 1Amps.

Metering: Digital, Range: 0 to 250V AC.

DC VOLTAGE CIRCUIT:

Separate DC voltage source with ON/OFF switch, fuse & lamp indication.

For smooth variation of voltage output from 0 to 240 volts DC at 0.5 Amps.

Isolation transformer of suitable burden is provided for DC output.

Metering: Digital, Range: 0 to 250V DC.

Provision for the Timer contact for checking protective equipment like breaker/Relay tripping.

Time Interval Meter (TIM):

Microcontroller based 8 digits Timer.

Range: 0 - 9999.9999 seconds with minimum count of 0.1 milli seconds. Accuracy 0.05%.

The Timer will be capable to record & display the tripping time of relay under test automatically.

The Time Interval meter will be suitable to measure Closing (Make) and Opening (Break) time for Relay through Potential Free contacts.

The TIM will be provided with Rest facility.

GENERAL ARRANGEMENT:

The Test Kit will be in one unit and Flight case type.Meters, Terminals, Indicators, Regulator knobs, Timer, Display etc. will be fitted on the horizontal panel of the set, which can be approached by opening the top lid. Loading transformer, Measuring CT & protection circuit etc. will also be housed within the same unit.

ACCESSORIES:

The Test set will be supplied with

i. 3 Pin Mains Input power cord -3 meters-1 no.

ii. Output connecting cables for Current Circuit & Voltage Circuits terminated with lug at one end and

crocodile clip at the other end -1.5 meters each pair.

iii. Timer output screened guard leads with connectors/ clips -1.5meters-1 pair.

iv. Earth leads with connectors/clips.

v. Leather or similar type carrying case for cables.
